At the End of Every Negative

What positive emotion do you feel most often?

What positive emotion do I feel most often? The brief answer is peace of mind.

It is not the emotion that I experience when I first awaken. It always follows any number of negative emotions which try to control me or defeat me.

Most of what fills my day from literature, social media, mainstream and online news sources, television and theatrical fiction and nonfiction are designed to stir our emotions.

Fear, confusion, doubt, frustration, envy, hopelessness, pity, selfishness are a few of the emotions aroused most often by would-be influencers. Our world is out of control which constantly reminds us we have so little control of our lives.

That’s why I begin my day alone conversing with or sitting quietly with Reality, Love, Peace, Grace, i.e., the Creator Who puts chaos in order, gives doubts and fears hope, and provides purpose to dysfunction.

I might feel a dozen different negative emotions in one day, but each negative experience ends with peace of mind knowing I can trust God helps me conquer what I can or reorders for my benefit what I cannot.

I have the rich life full of a sinner wounded by misunderstanding and punishment but blessed by mercy and forgiveness.
