What would you change about modern society?

My first response was a question. What characterizes modern society? What distinguishes modern society from past societies?

I discovered that many of the differences between past and modern is that many of the problems in today’s world like climate, technology, education, social media, politics, and governance were the solutions created by another generation. The intentions were good in many cases, but we found a way to mess it up. There’s nothing new under the sun.

I surmise that what we believe is wrong with modern society has more to do with what is wrong with the other guy. So, we guard ourselves against each other and try to change the other guy or the other guy’s misguided beliefs. This brings us to our biggest issue in modern society – we are more divided than ever. At least it appears as if we are more divided than at any other time.

This brings me to my answer to the prompt’s question. The enemy against every society struggled; the same formidable foe each of us fight or sadly fail to fight.

The ills of society of any society past, present, or prospective starts with realizing the enemy is the spiritual forces of evil. The spiritual forces of evil convince me my understanding is wisdom and yours is ignorance.

What would I change? I would change who we see as the enemy.

      3. I honestly believe you don’t know whats really going on…I think the system has you so busy with survival…that you don’t even have a full 30 days of relaxation…so I am here bro…even with my crazy texts…you are meant to be able to relax and not have to worry.

      4. Unfortunately, that’s my point I’m trying to get you to understand. I am the most relaxed in my life and extremely hopeful. I’m not worried. Maybe I don’t know what’s really going on, but maybe I do. That’s why I share and exchange thoughts and perspectives. I’m glad you’re here to help, though.
