Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.
In the past, as far back as I can recall, I’ve been tempted to write a nonfiction book based on my understanding of the Bible. I would immediately dismiss the thought because I am no biblical scholar and no exceptional man of faith.
One day, I decided to give in to this temptation. I began to dig deep into the scriptures studying it like you would a literary work. Trying to understand the author, his message, his audience, the cultural significance of the period it was written, even the work’s significance in the overall work of the Bible.
There may never be a book birthed through this endeavor. Yet, the results so far help me see myself better, gain insight to Who God is, and develop a keener understanding of the vast difference of the way things are and the way things could be.
