The perception of Christianity being man-made is an honest, astute observation, because so many religions have sprung up from the original worship of Christ.
Today, so many who claim Christianity do not worship Christ, but try to live Christ-like lives by following man-made religious teachings.
Pure Christlikeness begins with surrender of your man-made identity which is the only God acceptable worship and a God guided transformation into Christ identity.
There is nothing man can do. It is an unconditional surrender to and complete faith in God knowing what to do. There is therefore nothing man-made about it.
