A New Year

What will 2016 bring? For me, starting January 18th, I will be retired from working as an standard business unit manager of a Customer Care Center.

Many have asked me how will I stay busy. First, my wife, who is younger than I am and not ready to retire, has some ideas for how I can spend some valuable time upgrading our house. I think it helps her deal with the concept that she still has to go to bed, get up, get ready at regulated and rotuine times and I don’t. I also have a few hobbies that I enjoy. One of those is writing. I want to spend more time creating blog posts.

I also want to complete and publish another novel or two. The first to be a sequel to A RIVER BEND, my first and only novel. I may even try and do some freelance writing.

I have also learned some valuable lessons from my experiences working in a couple of different professions. These may be helpful to other people. I hope to write about these experiences in the blog posts.

Most of all, with this new adventure of retirement, I want to be open to whatever God would have me to do. I hope it can also be of some benefit to you the reader. I know it will help me fulfill some life dreams. Had life not happen as it did, I would probably have done some of the things I plan to do during retirement before, possibly even as a vocation.

    1. Thanks for the flattering words about A River Bend. The sequel to A River Bend is well on its way. I have included a little more drama in this one I am also introducing characters from another book idea which I hope, Lord willing, will be my third book.
